„Finding your own sound“ — It is the biggest goal, the greatest challenge and probably the most common root and cause for desperation during the process of recording and producing the first album. By releasing his debut Garden of Stone on Leipzig based label Altin Village in November 2018, P.A. Hülsenbeck, who the media still likes to link to his former band Sizarr, succeeded in doing just that. The album comprises a total of nine unique pieces which seamlessly run into each other and can be rooted somewhere on the boundary between post jazz, synth pop and experimental song writing. On Garden of Stone Hülsenback has composed a world of complex tranquillity and hypnotic dimensions. A safe haven consciously offering its listeners relief from the stress of everyday life by immersing them into a welcoming, esoteric soundscape. P.A. Hülsenbeck will be playing at the opening night of TransCentury Update No. 4, marking his very first show in Leipzig since the release of his debut album..
